A heart of stone, rind so tough it’s crazy, that’s why they call me the avocado, baby

Hello! It's Wednesday, which means just two more days until the weekend!! Yay! The Easter holidays are over, and now I really need to get my sleeping schedule back on track. I find it extremely hard to fall asleep at night, but I'm exhausted during the day. I'm so tired of being tired!

On a different note, today is my 7 month veganniversary!! I know many people wonder what vegans eat, so I thought it would be a good idea to share what I've been eating throughout the day.
(Hint: it's not leaves/grass/branches/twigs.)

My breakfast was oatmeal with almonds, walnuts and berries.

Then I ate two apples, a banana, a pear and a handful of cashews during break time.
For lunch, I had two rice cakes with avocado and almonds and salad.

At 5 p.m. I had nachos with homemade guacamole, hummus and a banana/berry/soy milk smoothie

For dinner, I had brown rice with fried tofu, carrot, a baked potato and avocado.

Yes, I realize I've been eating avocados all day long. But I don't regret it one single bit. Ironically, I've also been listening to the song Avocado, Baby by Los Campesinos! all the time during the last few days.

Oh, it won't get any better, that doesn't mean it's gonna get any worse.

The weather has been surprisingly good today, so I was finally able to wear a skirt and a blouse without freezing to death. Spring is finally coming after what seemed like an endless winter!

Well, I guess it's time to say goodbye! I'll be back very soon. Thanks for taking the time to read my post!!

Love
Flo.

DIY cat tights

Let me tell you something.

YOU KNOW WHAT I LOVE???

CATS.

Why?

As the crazy cat lady I am, I knew a pair of cat tights would be the perfect addition to my wardrobe. Do you want a pair of your own? Just keep reading!

You will need:
-Sheer tights
-Black acrylic/fabric paint
-A small paintbrush

1. Take a piece of paper and draw your template.

2. Place your template on top of a magazine and roll it. Now, place it inside one of the legs of your tights.

3. Paint over the template with a small brush. Allow to dry and repeat in the second leg.

4. This is the final result!

Excuse my bruised knees! I'm the clumsiest person in the world.

That's it! The layer of paint is really thin so it takes like 5 minutes to dry, which means instant cat tights!! Is there anything better?? I hope you enjoyed reading my first real blog post.

Have a nice day!

Hi, and welcome to my very first blog post! My name is Flo and I'm a 15-year-old girl who wants to make a difference, not only in myself but in the world too. I'm passionate about veganism, feminism, art and yoga.

I spend as much time as I can drawing, painting, collaging, art journaling and doing DIY projects. I'm obsessed with pineapples, unicorns, plants (especially cacti), indie music, tea and animals.

I will use this blog to share my creations, recipes and thoughts about issues I feel strongly about. I hope you enjoy my blog, have a great day!!
